| |
In order to minimize shipping costs to our customers, assembled cabinets are available in full truckload quantities or for customers in the Denver metro area. |
| What tools do I need to assemble the components? |
| |
To assemble the cabinets you will need several bar clamps (or a case clamp), a rubber mallet, screwdriver or screw gun, wood glue, and a 5/8" staple gun. |
| What colors and finishes are available? |
| |
COMPONENTS-plus offers a wide variety of melamines, plastic laminates, and veneers for immediate availability. |
| How much do your cabinets cost? |
| |
COMPONENTS-plus does not have preset prices for any of our products. This allows for greater ordering flexibility without confusing up-charges. By filling out and faxing our 2 part bid sheet, a quote can be returned to you in 24 hrs. |
| Can I have different slides and hinges than the two brands you show?. |
COMPONENTS-plus only inventories Salice and Alfit products. Customers can provide their own hardware or inquire on the availability of special hardware items. |

| What is your lead-time? |
Our "typical" lead-time is 10-12 business days from the time an order is confirmed to the time it is ready to be shipped or picked up. Non stock materials, customized products, and assembly can add to lead times. |
| What thickness of material do you use in your boxes? |
Components-plus uses 3/4" thick tops, bottoms, and sides. We use 1/4" backs in a captured dado and 1/2" hangrails for attachment to walls. |
| What drawer types do you offer? |
We offer 5 piece drawers in 5/8" melamine with 1/4" bottoms. We also offer Alfit "Integra" drawer systems which consist of integral white metal sides which mount directly to the drawer front, 5/8" melamine bottoms and backs |
| Do you offer cabinets in 5/8" material? |
No, unlike many of our competitors we only manufacture our cabinet components in ¾" material. ¾" thick material is far superior for cabinets. There is no sagging of shelves or wall bottoms and the resulting joints are much stronger. |
| Do you offer solid wood cabinets, or cabinets made from veneer core plywood? |
Components-plus only manufactures cabinets made from highly engineered core materials. Particleboard and MDF are stable, uniform in thickness and density, resist seasonal movement, and can be machined to precise tolerances. |

Components-plus only manufactures frameless cabinets. |
| Can I use your components for face-frame cabinets? |
Yes, Face frames can be added to our cabinets. However, the customer will need to provide their own frames, hardware, doors, and drawer boxes.
| What is a frameless cabinet? |
Frameless cabinets do not have a face frame. Therefore, all of a cabinets interior is available for use. Space is not lost between cabinets, doors, or in drawer stacks. There is no center stile on a double door cabinet to reach around! |
| Do you offer dovetailed drawer boxes? |
We do not manufacture dovetailed drawer boxes in our facility. However, recommended sizes can be provided.
| Do you offer finishing services. |
Typically no. Although we have finishing capabilities, prefinished components are susceptible to freight damage. |
| How will my ready-to-assemble cabinets be shipped to me? |
Cabinets are palletized and/or crated and shipped LTL to our customers. |
| Will my shipment be organized by cabinet? |
Components are randomly stacked to maximize space, protection and efficiency. |
| How will I know which parts go to which cabinet? |
Every part has an edge-applied removable label indicating what part it is and to which cabinet it goes to. Components-plus uses edge labels (instead of face labels) so that parts can easily be identified in a stack. Additionally, labels are applied to unexposed edges (whenever possible) so that parts are oriented and labels do not have to be removed. |
| Are your components more suited for residential or commercial applications? |
Our cabinets are equally suited for residential or commercial use. The primary difference between residential cabinetry and commercial cabinetry are door style and hardware selection. |
